Heart of Living™ Home Gallery makes every effort to represent participating artists through multiple and unique channels of exposure. Our state-of-the art website offers artists a venue for real-time marketing.
The Gallery recognizes that each artist is unique and that each potential customer is, as well. We attempt to meet each customer where they are at and to provide maximum service and consultation. Therefore, every effort is made to represent artists with potential buyers based on medium, theme, and artistic style. Commissioned work is promoted and encouraged.
Our philosophy of collaboration and partnership with our artists is a hallmark of our gallery. We value and welcome feedback and creative ideas. We hope that our participating artists also value these tenets. Therefore, we routinely share consumer feedback to specific artists in an effort to strengthen our ability to maximize our efforts on his/her behalf.
Multiple venues, both public and private, are planned throughout the year. Artists are invited to participate, as desired and as appropriate. We encourage artists to be present at special receptions or show openings as customers highly value the opportunity to meet and talk with the “person behind the work”.
Heart of Living™ Home Gallery places a primary emphasis on seeking and representing the region’s finest artists. We welcome strong talent for exhibition in our gallery. Artists interested in presenting work for potential exhibition should contact us either by calling the gallery (336) 662-0023 or through the website to set an appointment. Please be prepared with a portfolio of work (either pictures or CD), artist’s statement, resume’ and a small sample of available work. If the artist has an active website, the gallery would appreciate an opportunity to visit that website in advance.
Instructions for the preparation of images
Images must be submitted in .gif or .jpg form, saved in RGB mode at 72 d.p.i. Please do not send images larger than 500k each. If you are using Adobe Photoshop to create these submission sample images, please "Save for Web" as a jpg.
