The Heart of Living Home Gallery offers unique and creative venues for both public and private gatherings and events. We take pride in the beautiful surroundings that create a wonderful setting for art exhibitions, group meetings and private venues. In addition, we value opportunities to collaborate with other organizations in the Piedmont that look to enhance economic development, community service, and philanthropy, thereby serving to enhance the communities where we live and work. The generosity of our participating artists who willingly take part in special events and benefits each year cannot be understated.

Red Dog Farm Animal Network
Thursday, September 04, 2008, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Friday, September 5th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Currently we are planning a Thursday, evening reception. This Fundraising Event features the area's finest local artists, animal paintings, and pet portraits. For the entire month of September, a portion of all animal art sales benefit Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue.
John Geci & Courtney Martin
Friday, September 5th, join Heart of Living Gallery in welcoming glass artist, John Geci from Penland, NC and potter, Courtney Martin also from Penland, NC; this reception will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The following Saturday, Courtney Martin and John Geci will be in the gallery from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Their blown glass and pottery will be featured through September 30, 2008.

Heart of Living Gallery and Alight,Inc. will host it's third annual reception for Alight, Inc. Supporting local breast cancer patients and their families, a portion of all art sales and commissions will benefit Alight, Inc. for the month of October.
This show will feature Wayne Epperly, with a reception for the artist October 3, a First Friday downtown, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

November 7, 2008: First Friday in November kicks off our holiday gift event. Enjoy refreshments while we help you select lovely, original art, gifts and jewelry from the area's finest artists.

Paint Your Own Masterpiece: French Cedars
Sunday, June 22nd, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, follow along with Connie Logan's step by step instructions and go home with your very own 20 x 16 portrait of French Cedars lining a path! This class is also given the following Thursday, June 26th, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. No experience or supplies required, this class is given "follow the leader" style. Wine and a light dinner served; wear clothes to paint in. Each night holds just 12 spaces, so register early!!!

GRAND RE-OPENING CELEBRATION; Friday, April 4, 2008 - 4:00 to 9:00 pm.
Please join us as we celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of Heart of Living Home Gallery in our new location at 320 South Elm Street in Downtown Greensboro. Beginning with a Ribbon Cutting at 4:00 pm, we will continue through the evening until 9:00 pm. Visit with some of our artists and see the new and exciting works in the Gallery. We will also be launching our Bi-Centennial Theme for April and May. "Greensboro: Past, Present & Future" will depict Greensboro through the eyes of our participating artists as we collaborate with our community in celebrating Greensboro's Bi-Centennial celebration.
